Al Friedman

Director

Al is a long-time resident of Madison with a life-long interest in libraries. Currently the Associate Director of University Communications at UW-Madison, Al serves on many campus committees and is vice president of the University Club. Al was a trustee of the Madison Parks Foundation and has served on boards and commissions in higher education. He is very happy to join the Madison Public Library Foundation board at this time when library facilities and access to library resources are undergoing such exciting change.
