Meet the Executive Director
The Madison Public Library Foundation welcomed Terrie Goren as our new Executive Director in January 2007. Terrie came to us with a diverse background in community development and fundraising. Terrie has recently relocated to Madison from Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she was actively involved in the community for the past 16 years. Terrie’s background includes directing programs including a student organization at a private university, a drug and alcohol prevention agency, and a religious institution. She has partnered on fundraising projects, large and small and most recently completed an $8.8 million building project in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown, PA). Terrie is excited about joining the Madison Public Library Foundation and is looking forward to the many building projects and capital campaigns planned for the continued growth of the Madison Public Library. She finds the community’s passionate commitment to the library inspiring. She is confident that through the fine work of the foundation and committed volunteers, the Madison Public Library Foundation will continue to fulfill its mission of providing much needed supplementary financial support for the library.
